Councilor Kelly Gabliks is a native Oregonian, having been born and raised in Polk County. Kelly has been happily married from over 23 years to her husband, Eriks. Kelly received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Oregon, a Masters of Arts Degree from Rutgers University, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Arizona State University College of Law.
After working for a large Portland law firm for a number of years, Kelly pursued her interest in public service and secured a position with the Oregon Department of Justice, where she has worked from almost twenty years representing the interests of all Oregon citizens.
Kelly and Eriks moved to Dallas in 1997 so they could become more involved in their community. When not working, most summer days finds Kelly busy in their garden.
Kelly has served on numerous committees and appointed positions in the communities in which she has lived, including serving on the Polk County Committee for Citizen Involvement and the Dallas Budget Committee for many years, most recently serving as its Chair.
I am interested in hearing from all Dallas residents on the issues that matter to them. Working together, we can continue to make Dallas a great place to live. Please do not hesitate to contact me so that you can make your voice heard!
