Journey through 2015 with the accomplishments your City of Dallas has achieved. From the Council goals for our City to the upcoming challenges our community faces in the future.
The City of Dallas announces it is seeking citizens interested in serving on the Dallas City Council.  A vacancy was created on the Council with Murray Stewart’s  resignation on June 20.  The appointee’s term of office will begin immediately upon appointment by the Council and continue through December 31, 2016.

Council members are required to attend two regular Council meetings per month, on the first and third Mondays at 7:00 p.m.  Members are also required to attend a workshop each month, usually on the first Monday at 5:30 p.m., and standing committee meetings every other month.  Council members are also part of the Budget Committee, which requires attendance at several Budget meetings in the spring.

Applicants must be a registered voter of the State of Oregon and must have been a legal resident of the City of Dallas continuously during the twelve months immediately preceding appointment to the Council.  An application form can be picked up at City Hall, 187 SE Court Street, Dallas, downloaded from the website at www.dallasor.gov, or mailed by request.  Applications will be accepted until July 8, 2016, at 5:00 p.m.  For more information, call 503-831-3557.

  1. Interactive Map
    interactive street condition map

Early Summer 2014, the City of Dallas contracted with Infrastructure Management Services to perform a Pavement Condition Assessment. Utilizing state-of-the-art equipment mounted to a vehicle, IMS drove through the community collecting data on the condition of every City street. This data was processed and provides valuable information on the current conditions of our streets. This information provides accurate assessments for the type of rehabilitation individual streets require and cost estimates to perform these rehabilitation efforts.
